LIVING WELL
Together, these two words define the encompassing goal of my life’s passions and interests: creating inherent happiness and satisfaction in my life – and helping others to do the same.
This journey began in my early twenties when I found an amazing therapist who would become part coach, part mentor, part spiritual guide and being exposed to Nonviolent Communication (NVC).
From there my life’s path led me through a wide and wonderfully fulfilling array of experiences – mentoring at risk youth, studying NVC, volunteering in the Peace Corps in Gabon, receiving my graduate degree for Transpersonal Psychology at Naropa University – and ultimately to my work as a therapist, coach, teacher, and speaker.
I feel blessed to be able to share what I’ve learned in service of others’ journey to their own happiness and satisfaction.
I live in SW Portland Oregon with my wife and two daughters. My experiences as both husband and father have been major influences in my growth – personally and professionally – and I find great joy in supporting my family and deepening my capacity to love.
To keep my life centered and balanced, I make sure to devote time to my favorite recreational activities: bouldering, yoga, and trail running.
